Having fun at school

Last week our school looked a bit different. Everybody had the opportunity to take part in a good number of interesting activities. Look at the photos:
  • Who are the people in the pictures? What are they doing?
  • What did you do?
Tell us about your experiences on that day.

In the first picture I can see a boy climbing a big rope.
In the second picture, I can see Yasemin teaching a Turkish dance to some girls of our class. It looks fun.
In the third picture I can see Cat teaching some students of other classes about the U.S.A.
I didn't go to any of these activities because I chose another ones. The activities that I chose were also so fun.
I made crepes, I took photographs of the activities, I painted a big picture, I played chess, and lots of other activities. I've really enjoyed that week. It was really fun!
What about you?

In the first photo, they are the different people of the I.E.S. Heliche, and they are climbing.
In the second photo, they are girls of bilingual class, and they are dancing with Yasemin.
In the third photo, they are people listening to Cat, because she is speaking of her country.

There's so much people in the photo, but the ones I like the best are "THE TURKISH DANCE" and "LEARNING ABOUT U.S.A."... Well, talking about me, I did, for example, "COMPUTERING AND NEW TECHNOLOGIES", or "DEVICE GAMES". And I also went to "LEARN ABOUT TURKEY", or "BICYCLE REPAIRING". One characteristic that all this things share, is that they are all funny and INSTRUCTIVE.
But... WHAT ABOUT YOURSELVES?

I think they were fantastic days because we did very interesting things like climbing, computering, taking photographs...
The people of the pictures are dancing but they are doing Turkish dancing. In the other picture the people are climbing and in the other Cat is explaining things about America.
The first day I climbed, I learned about the robotic and I retouched some photographs.
The second day I cooked crepes, I made soap, I did some flower decoration, I played chess and I participate in a gymkana.

Hi!!!

In the first photo we can see a boy and he's climbing in the playground, I think that he is a gardening student.

In the second photograph we can see many people: Yasemin and her friend, Mª del Mar, Belén, Fátima, Claudia & so on. And they are dancing the Turkish Dance.

And in the last photograph we can see the presentation of Cat, "Learning About U.S.A."; I went to that activity and it was very funny and interesting.

In the Cultural Week, I did a lot of activities, but my favorite were: Learning About U.S.A. and Turkey, the Pub Quiz, Making Crepes and the Gymkhana. I liked it a lot and I want to repeat it every year.

What did you do? Did you like the Cultural Week?

GoodBye!!!

Thanks to those of you who came to mine and Yasmine's presentation. I enjoyed the Turkish cake you all made (maybe too much!). For me, as a teacher, the day was also fun to see all of you enjoying different activities and spending time with friends.
