HIGE-RISE BUILDINGS COLLAPSE IN RIO:

Two buildings collapsed last Wednesday night in Río de Janeiro. One of the buildings had ten floors and the other about twenty. The collapse happened at about 20:30, when the buildings had low occupancy which reduces the number of victims. Three deads were found between rubble and so far, there are sixteen missing. The number of victims is unknown. City firemen said that there was an explosion and then the buildings collapsed, but really, they don't know the causes of the explosion. More probably is that the collapse was cause of an structural mistake.

Michael Jackson honoured in Hollywood
It's was a ceremony to honour Michael Jackson. It was in Los Angeles.
He was honouredduring a shoes and glave-print ceremony.
There were singers who sang for him, like Justin Bieber, Smokey Robinson, also his three children, his mother and his brothers were in the event.
The ceremony lasted for an hour.
Michael Jackson's children stamp of prints of a pair of their parents' shoes and also one of his famous gloves into the cement.
I chose that video because it's a good idea to remember him, and I think that their fans will like it very much.

BRAZIL'S SUPER RICH GROW RICHER AS POOR ARE LEFT BEHIND:
I have chosen this video because I like the main image. It's about rich people in Brazil. One of the rich women that speaks in this video says that rich people were born rich and poor peoplehave to work hard to have a better life.
Brazil has an important increasing number of millionaires. But the difference between rich and poor people is very big, because rich people are very rich and poor people are very poor. The middle class is a 61% of the population.

I have chosen:"Are people in the UK becoming more dishonest?".
It's a TV program and it studies if the people from UK is more dishonest nowdays than the past. The reporter did some interviews to some people in the street to chek it this question. The questions were the following:"If you found money in the street would you hand it?","If you damaged a car would would you leave your name and addres?","Is a white lie ever accepatble?".In the prgram the presenters did an interview to Profesor Paul Whitely, who thinks that young people are more dishonest than older people. They also did an interview to Leo,whose bank account was credited with a 250,000$ by mistake.I recommend this video because it's funny and interesting to know pople's opinion about matters that everybody has wonders about.I found it quite good.

I have chosen a "Brazil's super rich grow richer as poor are left behind". How you can see it is about the increasing number of millonaries in Brazil. The video speaks about the differences between rich and poor people in Sao Paulo.
I like very much it because in this feature story I can see a very big house and beautiful car, but I can see a poor people that they don't have things that the rich people have.

This is the link to the video I chose:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-17024859
The title of the video is "Lizzy Cundy: Twitter should be monitored".
This video is a comment about the recent shut down of accounts of famous footballers on Twitter because they're being abused.
In this video, you can see an interview from the program BBC Breakfast. It's an interview to Lizzy Cundy, a TV presenter, who has a Twitter acount and receives abusive tweets, so she thinks Twitter should be monitored.
Also, in this interview there's a senior lecturer in computing from Goldsmiths University of London, Chris Brauer, who explains the behaviour of some people on Twitter and what the famous people should do agains this.

FALSE WIDOW SPIDER, SHOULD WE BE WORRY?
Last week one false widow spider bit one man ten times at his neck. He was in a hospital treatment, but now he is absolutely recovered. Now, british people are worry about this spiders. The number of this spiders, the UK's most dangerous, has had a increase. Experts say that there are very few persons that have been bit by this spiders, so we shouldn't be worry about it.

ICE RINK IN SLOVAQUIA CAVES IN UNDER WEIGHT OF SNOW:

In the video we can see some ice hockey players that were playing when the roof of the place where they were playing fell because of the weight of snow. The good thing is that the players could go out before the roof fell down above them. The bad thing is that this place was opened last November. At the end of the video, we can see some different picctures of the disaster.

The video that I have chosen is "Child's toy launched into space by students".
In this video you can see the invention of two students. To build their invention they have used: a big ballon, a box, 4 cameras and a lego toy. They sent their invention to the atmosphere and now thanks to it we have beautiful images of the Earth.
To make this video the journalist talked with the students to know how they built it, and he also showed some pictures that the students' invention took when it was in the atmosphere.

"Indonesia's super rich help the poor"

Karishma Vaswani, one of the BBC's reporter in Indonesia has had an interview with one of the richest women in that country.
She's fed up with seeing that the poorness in her country is constantly growing, at the same pace as population.

The billionaire woman has some plans to help her fellow citizens. She has just started her supportive movement founding some associations in favour of poor people and she has made clear she's going to do her best to convince some other Indonesian billionaires for helping her with this cause.

>>> I have selected this piece of news and this interview because I think rich people have to help, at least a bit, being generous and making a better world. Although the rich are usually selfish people, there are some exceptions as this Indonesian woman.
